The
1st Korea Robot Aircraft Competition
The
1st Korea Robot Aircraft Competition was held in October 5 ¢¦ 6, 2002
at Hankuk Aviation University. For participating in UAV autonomous flight
competition of October 6, 2002, 33teams submitted the application for
entry at the very beginning, but only 18teams were qualified for the competition.
In addition to the competition, as side event, RC(Radio Control)aerial
photographing competition was held in October 5, 2002 one day prior to
the main competition and 37teams participated. Also, during the competitions,
UAV and -related equipments were exhibited. UAV demo flight and the acrobatic
flight by radio-controlled airplane was performed.
At awards
ceremony following the competition and Scoring, awards on UAV autonomous
flight and RC(Radio Control)aerial photographing competition were given.

1st Korea Robot Aircraft Competition which was held in Korea for the first
time was a great success, including thousands of visitors. We think the
competition contributed to raise an understanding on UAV and spread of
technical development.

2nd Korea Robot Aircraft Competition was held in October 3, 2003 at Hankuk
